Texas Discovery Gardens is a cultural partner with Dallas ArtsPartners. Dallas ArtsPartners works with Public Schools and cultural organizations throughout Dallas and provides funding to enrich the lives of children through the arts.

Booking Policy: Programs are available Monday through Friday, costs $5.00 per child, with a minimum cost of $60.00. Programs last 45 minutes to an hour. Pre-registration is required, a deposit is required to confirm booking, with full payment due upon arrival. We can accept check, VISA, MasterCard and cash only please.

Outreach Programs: We can come to you!  On-campus programs cost $25 in addition to the student cost of $5.00 each. Teachers are asked to remain with students during the lesson, which may incorporate a short walk around the school grounds. A special rate is available for Auditorium presentations, please call for more information 214- 428-7476 ext. 27.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received with minimum two weeks notice. Programs not cancelled with two weeks notice are subject to a fee equal to 50% of the program cost. Programs cancelled on the day are considered no-shows and will be charged at full price.  Programs can be amended or rescheduled on the day due to bad weather at the Gardens, please call to confirm at 214- 428-7476. 

Late Policy: A program is guaranteed only for its scheduled start time. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but we reserve the right to cancel or adjust program length if necessary. Please notify us at 214-428-7476 if your group is running late.

Supervision Policy: A teacher or chaperone must remain with students at all times whether the program is conducted in a school classroom or at Texas Discovery Gardens. One adult is required for every ten students, and is admitted free of charge. Additional adults are charged $5 each.

PARKING: Due to renovations our temporary entrance is on First Avenue opposite the Planetarium; school bus parking is in the parking lot next to the Smirnoff Music Center. We suggest you enter Fair Park at Gate 6 at the intersection of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. & Robert B. Cullum Blvd. Immediately turn right on Second Ave, which will curve left and become Pennsylvania Ave. The parking lot is on your right.
