Adult and Family Programs Coordinator
Texas Discovery Gardens is looking for a creative, energetic individual who loves working with the public to assume the position of Adult and Family Programs Coordinator.
The position is Tuesday through Saturday. Responsibilities include: development and implementation of Adult and Family oriented workshops, garden walks, and events. You will also be recruiting, training and tracking data on the volunteers.
Applicant should have at least two years experience teaching programs in an environmental/natural history setting and some experience supervising and training volunteers. A Bachelor’s degree in the sciences is preferred but not necessary, depending on experience.

Event Representatives
As a Texas Discovery Gardens Event Representative you will be assisting our rental clients by overseeing the rental use of the Grand Hall and Gardens during special events, providing excellent customer service, and representing Texas Discovery Gardens in a respectable manner.
Duties will include presentation, maintenance, and safe keeping of Texas Discovery Gardens’ resources (Building and Gardens), as well as being available to answer questions about the building and event for the client.
Must be available nights and weekends.
